12:31 am - Years of odd little experiences...I'd like some input, please.
I've recently started going through my paper diaries to pick out all the weird little ESP, dreams, and strange coincidences and just plain weird experiences I've had and written down since around the mid 1970s.

If anyone in this community would care to drop in to my journal and let me know if they have had any similar experiences or have any input on how to control or develop my very mild abilities I'd appreciate it.

09:18 pm - Planetary Change
Last night, Januari 4th, I woke up in the middle of the night from a very detailed and clear dream. When I woke up to write it down, I was still in a very shifted alpha state.

What I was told in this dream felt so important that I want to share it with others out there, both to see if you might have had a similar experience and to let as many people as possible know of the message I was given about a major change happening to our planet.

I'm new to intuition, but  it's not new to me. I had friend the recognized it a couple of years ago in my actions, activities, etc. Usually in the timing in things revolving around others. Like calling when something dire was happening to him or someone else.

It was also in other parts of my life at that time. I had a job that revolved a round personal files and information at a school. Hundreds of files managed between ten or so people they got lost on occassions and along the way I found a lot of them I didn't know how I was finding them but just a sense of knowing sometimes it was a visual memory other times a blind navigation.

My friend is the one that encouraged me to look into it more and learn about it. I've recognized mental or knowing, gutt feelings, sometimes  there were dream like images. I've a few of them played together.

I don't like the term psychic because of the cliche that is part of it. I'm learning to understand the energy envolved with intuition I don't have a solid grasp on it

12:00 am - Any empaths here?
Hi everyone,

I'm new to this community and a very intuitive person myself. ^_^ I've recently started a new community for empaths at empathy_connect. Feel free to check it out! (And please drop me a note if you feel the description on the site fits you!)

11:12 am - Meditation Exchange
I've been trying to expand my meditation horizons recently. Although much of this can be done without guidance or instruction I thought I'd ask if anyone would like to participate in a "meditation exchange."

If you have a favorite spiritual CD, upload it to www.yousendit.com and post the link in the comments so fellow community members can download and benefit from it. This exchange could apply to:

1) Guided meditation/relaxation programs (either general or specific in nature)

2) Music you feel is spiritually transcendent/healing in some way

3) Nature soundscapes

4) Sound therapy (i.e. Chakra healing chants/vibrations)

5) Anything calming, invigorating or otherwise inspirational to listeners

I'd be glad to post some personal selections in the comments if people care to participate in this. What do you think?

Love and Light...
~D

My intuition was correct! :-) A majority of my family members have been clinilcally diagnosed with ADD or ADHD (which isn't too hard since the symptoms are so vague and broad). However my whole life i've been able to do things and think about things in ways that other people can't. It's like watching 4 TVs all at once, all on different channels (in my head). The trick is to learn to control the relative volume on said TVs and how to focus on 1 or 2 without losing the other ones. If you can do this, it would seem that could be a great gift no? So after years of meditative practice, biofeedback (which is great btw), and such I can manage my ADD pretty well these days.

I see my ADD as a gift, but for a majority of my life nobody else has agreed with me except for people who witness it first hand. I've just read some things lately that indicate people are slowly changing their minds about how they see ADD. Not as something that needs to be treated or eliminated, but as an indicator that an individual goes about learning and such in a different way. If we are concious of that and make just a little effort, schooling and such would be much less of a problem for people with ADD/ADHD.

I've found some books that VERY accurately describe what goes on in my head and offers some fantastic insights on how to play to your strengths as a person with ADD/ADHD.

I've only read one of the books i've found yet, although I am working on more. I highly reccomend "The Gift of ADHD" by Lara Honos-Web [ISBN:1572243899]. She offers some fantastic perspectives on how to play to the strengths of ADD.

Finally, someone who agrees with my intuition! :-)

Hi every one.. ive been kind of lurking and reading.
This looks like an okay group do here I go!
I'm intuitive and also empathic but when i get something bad I have a tendancy to ignore it.
I have for the most part - totally learned my lesson
but you know how you are when you get bad feelings and you don't want to listen to the truth.

Anybody have any decisions in which they may need help with their intution?

I tend to rely on my intution... or at least i do now.
Last time was the last time for me to know when to listen and when not to. I had just gotten a new job and i was with someone else that night. It started off strange anyway because they didn't know i was supposed to be there then it got stranger because as soon as my mentor walked in, i got a nasty feeling.
I shrugged it off thinkging she's having a bad night, or she's just a tom boy. (I am a bit of one myself. We dont exactly come off feminine. I'm only part but this one seemed full blood tom boy.)

Anyway i go in three days later for my cheek (I hadn't recieved a call to come in) the lady wouldn't look me in the eye and I, to make a long story short, got fired because I didn't do the food properly when my mentor hadn't even let me in the kitchen.
SHe basically stole my job from me.
There are countless other times i ignored it and got bit in the butt for it too.
so now... i am starting to rely on it more. Its good at saving your ass if you would just listen.

11:42 pm - Timing
Although not quite a post on intuition (or is it)... I was just reading a book on stock investing today that had as a main thesis the need for a trader to open up their mind and use their intuition and trust that more than trying to brute force analyze everything with the conscious mind.

So, while doing my stock picks for tomorrow, after meditating for a half hour to really try and shut my conscious mind off (something I need to do more often than I currently do) I really worked on trying to use my intuition and trusting my gut.

While I am used to doing this in other areas of life I have not done so in trading and found it to be interesting. While I feel my choices are good I also have a nervous feeling because trusting my intuition here is something I have not done and am not comfortable with.

Will be interesting to see how things work out.

And, back to timing, after reading the book and making the choices I see a post on the mbti group about intuition... hmmm....

Sounds like this could be an interesting group.

I think intuition can go on many different levels. I've had my own experiences, and read a few books on or related to it. Right now i'm working on "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Paramahansa Yogananda. Now that gets into some wicked weird stuff, like being literally in two places at one time. But i was curious (Because i'm always on the lookout for new books on this subject): Has anyone read about this sort of thing? This intuition matter? If so, which ones?

Wicked new community, just now joined, so go ahead and kick me if i'm doing this wrong. :p
